Leh Ladakh Tour covers the main highlights of Leh and Ladakh. Your tour starts from Delhi sightseeing and next day we fly to Leh and the trip officially starts. You will see the breath-taking aerial view of mountains during your flight. The Leh Ladakh Tour takes you to Leh, Khardungla, Nubra Valley, India’s first village –Turtuk, Shyok Village, Pangong Tso Lake and many others, introducing you with uniqueness of Leh, Ladakh along with its beauty, tradition, culture and lifestyle.

Itinerary 

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi airport and Transfer to the Hotel

After your arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport Delhi, our airport representative will escort you to the hotel. In the afternoon, you can take rest or explore the streets of Delhi nearby your hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2: Full day Sightseeing of Delhi, including 3 world heritage sites 


After your breakfast at hotel, you will be picked up by your tour guide for full day sightseeing of Delhi. Delhi offers you to explore many more, among them you can choose from this list (click here for the link). We normally start the tour visiting Chandni Chowk, you can ride a Rickshaw here to explore local market and daily life of the local people. After that, we visit Red Fort, a popular UNESCO world heritage site in Delhi. Then we visit Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. After visiting these places we head towards Raj Ghat, a memorial place dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi.
We take lunch and visit other two more UNESCO world heritage sites.  Humayun’s Tomb is popular destination where you can explore the blend of Architecture and Tradition. After visiting Humayun’s Tomb we will visit Qutub Minar. Qutub Minar is the tallest Minar of the world which reflects Indian Islamic architecture to the world. After visiting India Gate and President’s house you will be dropped to your hotel. 

 

Day 3: Fly to Leh from Delhi, and transfer to Hotel


After your breakfast at hotel, you will be picked up by our driver and drive you to the airport. You will enjoy the Delhi Leh flight. Before landing in Leh, you can see beautiful aerial view of mighty mountains. You will be received from Leh airport and transferred to your hotel in Leh. ​Today we advise you to stay in the hotel only to acclimatize your body with the altitude since you are arriving at the altitude of 11,000 feet from sea level. Overnight stay at your hotel in Leh.

Day 4: Sightseeing of Leh

After your breakfast, we will visit Namgyal Monastery and go for short hiking near Leh. We will also take you for medical test at government hospital to check whether you are fit to trek or not. Overnight stay at your hotel (centrally heated room) in Leh.

 

Day 5: Drive from Leh to Khardungla and then Nubra Valley

After your breakfast in Leh, we proceed to Nubra Valley via the World Highest Motorable road at 5602 m / 18380 ft. Nubra Valley is popular for stunning views of the sand dunes with a vast expanse of green in the background. You take rest at Deluxe Tent and later we explore more about valley including white sand dunes at Hunder. You can also enjoy the camel ride. Overnight at deluxe tent in Nubra Valley.  

 

Day 6: Drive to Turtuk from Nubra Valley. Exploring Turtuk 

After breakfast at our camp we proceed to Turtuk village. Turtuk Village is located near line of control near Pakistan. Turtuk can be considered as a first village of India. We explore the village and overnight stay at homestay in the Turtuk.

 

Day 7: Drive to Pangong Tso Lake via Shyok Village and exploring Pangong Tso Lake

After the breakfast we drive to Pangong Lake via Shyok Village. Pangong Lake is highest salt water lake. The lake is one of the largest high altitude lakes in the world. You can get more wallpaper pictures today. Overnight stay at deluxe tent near Pangong Tso Lake.

 

Day 8: Drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass

We wake up along with the beautiful sunrise above the lake and have our breakfast. After breakfast we drive back to Leh crossing Chang La pass. Chang La Pass is one of the highest mountain pass in the world situated in altitude of about 17,950 feet from the sea level. We also visit 3 Idiot School on our way. Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.

Day 9: Fly back to Delhi from Srinagar and Exploring Taj Mahal, 1 hr 35 fly & 3-4 hrs drive


Today is the last day in Leh. We take our breakfast quite early in order to get the early morning flight. You again can see those beautiful mountains throughout your flight. You will be picked up again from Delhi airport and we drive to Agra to explore Taj Mahal and other attractions.

Day 10: Farewell or Trip Extension 

Today is the last day of your trip. If you would like to stay more in India, you have plenty of options. Please ask us, it’s free.
